my mom got instructions to make the long striped hogwarts scarf and will make one for me :) so i don't know which colours to do. i was sorted into hufflepuff for the communities on lj but i prefer ravenclaw's colours more. so i'm not sure which one to do! she told me she could make the scarf last week but i need to tell her the colours so she can make it (and i can actually wear it- even though i usually don't wear scarfs)

Date: 2004-12-02 02:56 pm (UTC)I think you should take the colours you're more comfortable with. You know yourself best. I don't see myself as much of a Gryffindor either but I wear a lot of red so just because of the colours I really want one. ;)
Were you thinking of the book colours (blue and bronze) or the movie colours (light and dark blue)?

I mean... he had him where he wanted him but he had to gloat!!! Why did he have to gloat?? Why are all the bad guys always doing this?? He could have killed Mel Gibson!!! *dies*
Ooh, his comments are to die for! I love the sarcasm in each single word! And yeah, British accents ... especially with his voice... *swoons some more*

Date: 2004-12-02 08:26 pm (UTC)todays math lesson:
sneaky gabriel + tavingtons sword = bad
tavington + gloat = sharp objects in neck
british accent + sarcasm = major swoonage/faintage
jason issacs + movie + long hair = died and gone to heaven

Date: 2004-12-02 03:03 pm (UTC)To be honest, I prefer my Gryffindor gear. It's more vibrant than the Slytherin, but I'm totally a Slytherin gal. It's being more of a HP fan than a specific-house fan - people see red and gold and think "Harry Potter!" They see gray and green, and think "That's a long scarf."
And when I say "long scarf", I mean long scarf. I'm 5 foot 4, and when I drap the Gryffindor scarf around my neck, it reaches mid-calf on both sides. My Slytherin one stops just before my knees.

Date: 2004-12-02 03:08 pm (UTC)As far as which colour scheme to go for - it's up to you, really - if you prefer the style of the Ravenclaw colours better, go for that, but if you really want to show off the Hufflepuff pride, go for their colours ;)

This comment was not likely to have been helpful at all, and for that, I apologise :P
