Announcements
hh_sugarquill is now for fanfiction and fanart / digital manipulations! You can earn one point for simple doodles, five for raw sketches, ten for cleaned sketches, fifteen for colored pencil/pastel (crayon or pencil)/digitally colored work and manipulations, and twenty for painted work. In addition to this, there will be challenges as well!

Juppy will have another text contest for you coming up next week

The next Quidditch match is scheduled for this weekend! Everyone get ready to support your favorite teams and housemates! ETA: The coaches have changed the date; you will be notified as soon as it's set in stone. :)

Hi, I have a newbie type question. This is just because i'm trying to understand rather than complaining "OMG U GOT IT WRONG!!11" as this is my first month here.

Here (http://hogwartsishome.sinfree.net/pointsystem.html) it says that you get 5 knuts for entering a contest, but I have entered 3 this month so should I have 15? Or do the contests entered on Hogsmeade weekend not count for knuts?

I have a great way of confusing people, don't I? ;)

Yes, that is correct, however I went back and checked all of the Officials' records and we only have you down for entering one contest, and that would be one of the main contests in the community (either the Who's Who or the Lyrical contest).

Hogsmeade only rewards knuts and points if you win; not just for participation.

If that doesn't answer your question, just let me know.

ROFL that's okay, if I wasn't all modly and cool and had "DIRECT DEPOSIT!" *dies* I wouldn't have much in my account either. :) You just comment at the bank post in hh_diagon (which is FO so you'll need to be a member and have it friended) with the appropriate info and link to the point totals posts. But, HG is implementing a lottery and a deadline for depositing your knuts, and I'm not one hundred percent if that's in effect now or if it hasn't happened yet. You'll have to check. XD
