Your humble animagus mods have been secretly upgrading the roster, but real life is stealing away our precious time so we need some helpers!

Basically, you will just be copy/pasting the information from the old roster into a shiny new template. We're looking for three volunteers to copy over about 40 entries each. Depending on your speed, this might take an hour or two. For your trouble, you will be rewarded with a hefty 20 knuts each!

It would probably be best if you have some passing familiarity with html, just to make sure you don't accidentally mess up a tag, but it's not necessary if you're careful! You should also have Notepad or another program that lets you save as a .txt document. Also, we'd like this done within the next couple days, so don't sign up if you don't have time to do it asap! You do not have to be an animagus to help!

Thank you so much for volunteering! You will be working on batch 165-205.

1. You will find the animagus essays up to #197 by using this tag (http://community.livejournal.com/hih_animagus/tag/animagus+registery). After that, you will find the essays in the comments to this post (http://community.livejournal.com/hih_animagus/5925.html), with the animagus # in the subject line.

2. You will be copying as much info as you can onto this this template (http://dokuja.com/hih/animagus/rostertemplate.txt) (right mouse click and "save as" or "save target as").

3. Please copy them over in order. If a number is missing, just skip it!

4. Try to include as much info as possible. You might need to click over to someone's profile to try to find their name and house info. If you can't find it, just leave it blank and we'll fill it in later. The "date" is the date their essay was approved. You do NOT need to worry about bolding or italics, but please try to maintain paragraph breaks.

5. Be sure to copy the animagus number into ALL THREE places that say "000" in the template. (This is the "a name" link, the header "#000" AND the image url "000.png".)

6. The text file has 41 templates, which I think is exactly the number you'll need, but you may have some left over if there are numbers missing. Don't worry about it if you do. Submit the finished txt file to me via e-mail at slyfoxesq@gmail.com.

For the date, am I replacing "Date Unknown" with the date? Or did you want the word "Date" still in there, along with the actual date?

Sorry, last night something came up, but I'm doing it now. Quick question, I know you said that if an essay is missing to skip it, but do you want us to still write in the number of the applicant or leave it as 000? Does that make sense or does that question only sound right in my head?

Just go straight on to the next number. So 200 might immediately follow 198 if 199 is missing, etc. :)
