Today is April 19, 2005. Ten years ago, Timothy McVeigh drove a Rider Truck in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Building with a bomb, and left. The truck exploded, causing the building, and others around it, to be destroyed.

At 9:01 a.m. CST, if you're not busy, please take a few minutes to pray for the victims of the bombing. My mom was supposed to be working at the Journal Records Building, but she denied the offer to work there again. The bombing affected me directly, even though I was only 10, I had been to the Journal Records Buildiing, and knew a lot of people in that office.

It doesn't matter if you're from Oklahoma or not, what matters is the unity that it caused, and how it shows that we Oklahomans can get through anything together.

So once again, I ask, at 9:01 a.m., if any readers have it in their heart, spare a few moments for us.

I actually live in Edmond...well, on the border of Edmond and OKC. I go to college up here. I'm not FROM Oklahoma and I wasn't here when it happened. But being here afterwards I feel affected also. It's weird in a way but I feel a sort of sacred respect for Oklahoma.

my father had the choice of going to oklahoma city 1 year before the bombing, he decided to move to ky instead. I cried when the bombing happened. I cry today in remembrance of those who died.
