Field Trip??

Hey there, I was thinking it would be a neat idea to have a HiH field trip over the summer. I would be interested in organizing/helping to organize one in my area, but I need to know how many students live in North-East Florida or within reasonable traveling distance.
I will post more details and look for planning assistants once I know how many people might be interested.

That would be awesome! If it came down to the event actually being planned, we'd need to discuss it in detail; for now let's see how many people are interested.

Well, my current idea was for a meetup in St. Augustine. It's a couple hours away from me, but it seems like a neat place for a field trip with some interesting HP themeing possibilities....including an Alivan's store.

*squee's with excitement* ok, I can't actually GO, because I live in the UK, but I'm MOVING to St Augustine in a few years time, so it's super cool and random that you live near there too!

I wish there was a UK 'field trip', or convention, that would be fun. Too bad I'm too lazy to organise one...

I'm a Brit too. Home is Essex (closer to Suffolk border), uni is in Edinburgh, so I could do a north or south meet if someone arranges one. :-)

I'm I'm in Southeren Michigan, so I'd be up for one. You could combine Illinois and Ohio too .. Maybe even Wisconsin...but that's kind of far...

That would be very cool. We could do one for the New England area, maybe...(NH, Massachusetts, Connecticut, RI, NYC) all within a few hours of each other. Wouldn't that be fun?
