So yes, this is very last minute, but I absolutely must know. I am attending DragonCon this weekend. ARE YOU? Then perhaps, just maybe, we should have a super awesome HogwartsIsHome DragonCon Meetup Well? Shouldn't we? Thoughts? Suggestions? When are you free? Who's attending? Why am I so last minute? Why am I so INSANE? Post here!

OH MY GOD, I TOTALLY MEANT TO REPLY TO YOUR COMMENT ON MY PHOTO AND THEN I COMPLETELY FORGOT.

WHICH IS TO SAY: YES I'M GOING, AND YES, A MEET UP WOULD BE AWESOME.

So, anyway, Hi! I'm Lea, and I'm going to be staying at the Hyatt. I'm free most times; I'm on one panel on Sunday at... 2? or 3? or maybe 1? So I'll have to go to that because I'm on it. Also, I'm helping my friend run a game of Are You a Death Eater? at some point, and that has a time slot on the YA Lit track, but I have no idea when that is. Also, I'm going to the Yule Ball for sure and also the Cruxshadows concert. Not that I think you would try to plan a meet up during either of those times. Oooh, and I'm definitely going to go see Tom Felton. Possibly every time I can.

But yeah, um, YAY DRAGON CON!!!

I'm not actually going to the CON but I am going to be in the area one of the days just to meet a couple of friends (one from HiH and one from LJ)

You know it's funny, DragonCon seems to escape me the same way MCR does. Every year they toured, I'd have time set aside to go, I'd make plans, but they'd fall through and no back up and tickets are sold out after the first week of sales. Occasionally I'll hear a funny story about how someone had an extra ticket they couldn't give away and if they'd known me then...and I just glare.

DragonCon and I have a similar karma. Though a friend of mine who is going said he would try to get an autograph from George Romero, who is honestly the one I'd be most wanting to see. Tom Felton however, yeah, I hear he's nice. Wouldn't object if it were possible, but wouldn't plan for it. Very non-commital answer, however. I'm doubting anything will return. He's apparently difficult to get to. :(

I'm sorry to hear that karma has worked that way for you. It really is a great convention, so I hope eventually things will work out so you can attend with us one year. <3

I'd totally be down for that. I'm friends with Lea and we'll pretty much be free at all the same times. Though there may be a few other things I really want to do, but I haven't looked over the schedule yet.

Also, dinner would entail a later evening, which I believe one or two members has already pleaded against if possible. I, likewise, would prefer not to go out to dinner as I'm going to be tight on cash and any money I do have will be going to merchandise/events rather than food (which I can get at home, as a local).
