What would you like to accomplish this term? (can be school, HIH and/or life in general) Starting my treatment at the Mental Health Day Centre. I had to postpone it (it was supposed to be today) because we couldn't afford to get there (despite the fact that we actually had £1000 in our hands, we just couldn't cash it -_-).
Are you a morning, afternoon, or a night person? Very much a night person, which is why we have weird sleeping patterns and are mostly up during the night.
Tell us something new (can be of anything, a hobby, a movie that you like): We still have our Christmas tree up because we can't get the damn thing out of the flat
What is your favorite part of being a member of your house? Everyone is so nice and friendly, it's so warm and it makes me feel wanted and special, which is really what I need right now.

What is your favorite part of being a member of your house? I'm fairly new but the Claws have been really welcoming which is lovely, and my twisted sense of humour seems to fit right in.
Favorite TV shows/Movies: House, Veronica Mars, Buffy, Red Dwarf (classic). Films: Wonder Boys and A Knight's Tale, both really cozy :)
Recommend a good book? The five people you meet in heaven. Really thoughtful and thought-provoking and it made me cry. Let me clarify: I'm not a crier.
List one random/interesting fact about yourself. I really hate ladders. They scare me. I hate standing on something that I don’t trust not to fall away beneath me; this fear is I think why ice skating was so awful and why earthquakes make me feel so sick.
Favorite fast food place? Um, well in Japan fast food basically means ramen noodles, which are all sorts of yum.
What are your favorite LJ communities besides this on of course? I recently joined fandomfusion and I'm really liking it. I love crack_broom for the recs and I sometimes still drop by metaquotes but I took it off my watchlist because it just clogs my f-list like you wouldn't believe.

Tell us something new: My most recent and current obsessions is ontd_ai, an American Idol themed spin off of ONTD. It sucks my life away!
What is your favorite part of being a member of your house? I was just sorted a few weeks ago and then I had exams and now I'm traveling before I move back to the States so I've barely gotten a chance to meet anyone yet and thus can't really answer the question. :(
Favorite TV shows/Movies: Lost and Doctor Who are the major TV shows that I love. As far as movies go, I love a lot of classic movies from back in the day like Casablanca or On the Waterfront.
Recommend a good book? Uh... if you like history, I'm reading a book about the Wars of the Roses by Alison Weir right now. It's really good.

(can be school, HIH and/or life in general) Uh... if this term extends to the end of August, then I will FINALLY be graduating from college! :D If it goes farther than that, say into September, I'd really like to get a job, too. Are you a morning, afternoon, or a night person? I usually say night person, but these days I've been doing to bed around 11 or 12 and waking up between 7 and 8. O_o
Tell us something new (can be of anything, a hobby, a movie that you like): Uh... well, I'm home for the first time since I've been healthy? And it's much nicer than being home because I'm sick. Does that count? >.>
What is your favorite part of being a member of your house? The people! I love how brilliant and motivated they all are, and how easy it is to feel at home there even after just about a month or so. And I love how organized we are, in true Slytherin networking fashion. :D
Favorite TV shows/Movies: TV: Leverage, The Big Bang Theory, Bones, How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural, Lie To Me, Gossip Girl (guilty pleasure, heh), and the occasional episode of House, although I'm losing interest in that show (also it makes me even more of a hypochondriac than I already am). MOVIES: Fight Club, V for Vendetta, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang... and many, many others. XD
Recommend a good book? I usually recommend the His Dark Materials (Philip Pullman) and/or Kushiel (Jacqueline Carey) trilogies to people who like HP. Also, anything by Chuck Palahniuk (author of Fight Club) because he's brilliant. Sometimes I also recommend Vonnegut, but most people know who he is, so.

Are you a morning, afternoon, or a night person? All three, I guess. I find it difficult to wake up in the morning, but there's something about being awake really early in the morning that I really like. Afternoons are good, especially in the spring/summer, and nights are good too.
Tell us something new (can be of anything, a hobby, a movie that you like): One of my biggest pet peeves can be described by the following quote that I just remembered from a banquet I went to at school.
Girl wearing a "dress" that is in fact just a fancy shirt: "Yeah, I got this thing that goes around the bottom so that nothing shows." As she says this, she leans over the table to sign in and I see FAR more of her than I ever wanted to. It kind of made me laugh.
What is your favorite part of being a member of your house? THEY'RE NUTS AND IT'S WONDERFUL. I keep meaning to make my way over to ClawChat to join in the madness but I always forget.
Favorite TV shows/Movies: TV Shows: Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Alias, Farscape, Project Runway, Blackadder, The Office, 30 Rock
Movies: STAR WARS OT, Lord of the Rings, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (<3 Mos Def), Love Actually, Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, The Princess Bride, Star Trek, Once, both versions of Pride and Prejudice (although Matthew Macfadyen is far prettier)
Recommend a good book? Storm Front by Jim Butcher. Or The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan, but stop reading after book 8. Seriously.
List one random/interesting fact about yourself. I don't like how I was taught all through elementary school to type two spaces after a period and now apparently that's wrong.
Favorite fast food place? Would you count Seattle's Best Coffee as a fast food place? It's where I work. =) Other than that I'd say Wendy's. I'm not big on the whole fast food thing.
What are your favorite LJ communities besides this one of course? Umm...good question...oh, 100_snapshots although I haven't posted in ages, and I run <"wraithsquadron">, although my members pretty much run it themselves.
What are your favorite websites? Livejournal, Facebook, the University of New Haven website, Food Network.com, and Yahoo. I think those are the only ones I visit regularly, other than ABC to watch LOST.
