Let's Promote

One of the best ways to recruit for a community is by word of mouth, Hogwarts is Home is no excemption. A good number of applications that go through platform_934, say they were referred here by one of their friends.

A couple of ways to promote is:
- If you have a friend that is into Harry Potter send them a message telling them about the community.
- Write in your LJ, something about the community, it dosen't have to be fancy. You can write about the things that you like about the community and the things that you participate in and have a link to the community.

We all know this is the best Harry Potter community out there, let's make it even better by making the community grow by bringing in new people and ideas.

Well, I haven't got a single idea, but I did promote the community in the Harry Potter club I'm in. I made a thread in the discussion forum about it. Hopefully at least one out of the 153 members we have will come join us. :]

Personally I think we can promote with funny and cut animal pictures and say... "if you want more JOIN!" I mean everyone loves Kittens and Bunnys!
