I have a lot of interests. Mostly, it's Musical Theatre. My favorite (obsessive) musicals are The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, Spring Awakening, Wicked, Moulin Rouge, and Legally Blonde:The Musical. I intend to go to college for Musical Theatre and want to major in music. I am also very interested in Harry Potter (of course), Jane Austen, Keira Knightley, vampires, and the Inspector Lynley Mysteries. While, yes, I am a Twihard, I'm started to get a little annoyed with how big the fandom has grown. It's practically shoved in my fave whenever I enter school, so it's getting a little hard to bear. But I take it in stride, because I read the books when they first came out. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a hopeless romantic. It's actually kind of sad. I'm just waiting for the day when the man of my dreams will arrive. lol.

I'm Elaine. In HiH I'm the Herbology Club Leader. I'm also, according to musikurt, the only three-time Insomniac of the Month at hih_insomniacs.

I'm a first-year Master candidate; before this I worked for two years in Taiwan, teaching English. Amongst my variety of skills: basic Chinese, piano, HTML, excellent penmanship, cutthroat mahjongg player, allergies up the wazoo, juggling and getting my boyfriend to do anything with only a sound.

My major hobbies are eating and sleeping. Normally I don't strike people as an eater because I'm a small Chinese girl, but I must have snacks with me everywhere because I'm hungry very, very often. As for sleeping, I find it very hard to sleep, hence why I spend as much time as possible in a prone position in my bed.

I'am Katie. I'm 28 and work as an audio-typist at a hospital.

I like photography, watching films/ TV Favoutire films include eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Plesantville, The goonies, The sixth sense and TV shows i love are Doctor Who, House, Heroes and all those murder mysteries. My favourite one at the moment is Whitechapel, a recereation of the ripper murders in modern London and the policemen on the case. Reading- my favourite books are HP (obv) and i've just finished a Linwood Barclay book called something like to late to say goodbye which had a nice twist in the end.

My name is Nicole. I'm 16 years old. i'm a junior in high school and I live in California, USA. I'm a Hufflepuff, if you cant already tell. As to what I look like...well I am really tall 5 foot 11 to be exact. I have strawberry blonde hair but during the winter it gets pretty red. I am really pale, all year long. I randomly get people coming up to me and asking me if I am feeling ok because I look really white, but its just my natural skin tone. Lets see....some of my interests are Harry Potter of course, otherwise I wouldn't be in this community. Twilight (my first love/obsession), reading for fun, shopping(Hot Topic, Forever 21, Nordstrom...anywhere that has cute,fun, and bright clothes), I love to sing even though i'm not that good at it and I love going to the movies. If you asked me what I did this weekend or the weekend before or the weekend before that I could easily tell you that I went to the movies.Hmm...what else do I like? I like the rain, and photography (especially nature), as well as hanging out with my friends because no matter what the situation, we will make it fun. I love those little beret/beanie/hats, I have at least 3. lol. That was a really random fact. I like to dance and I was on my schools dance team my sophmore year but I didn't do it this year because I felt that I didnt have enough time for anything else in my life. One of my biggest obsessions is the internet, I just can't get enough of it. My parents hate that I go on the internet all the time but I don't really care, it's just something in my life that I can't easily get rid of. Now to the more simple things. My favorite color is purple...don't ask me why I chose this because I couldn't tell you but it just is. My favorite movies of all time are The Breakfast Club, Home Alone and Annie, especially Annie because I thought I was Annie when I was little. Also I have an albino goldfish named Theodore (ok he's not really albino but I thought he was for a while because he turned white), he is not named after the president like my little brother thought but is named after Theodore from Alvin and the Chipmunks. Why did I name him that you ask? I named him that because I had seen the movie a few days ago and Theodore is my favorite...so yea. I guess I have said alot about me....*looks back at everything written and laughs* yup I did write alot but once i'm on a roll you can't stop me! haha

My name is Hanako, and I'm a Potter-holic.

I am 33 years old, married mother of 3. I have been a Potter fan since Spring of 2005, right before the release of Half-Blood Prince. Up until I applied to be sorted here, I had always claimed Gryffindor House, but am now proud to hoist my Yellow and Black colors! Yay!

I am a habitual re-reader of anything that interests me, which includes Potter, Twilight and Eclipse (I've only read them 4 times though, NM 3 times and BD only once), and most of the Stephen King novels I read as a teen. I have a very huge HP collection, which can be seen on my Potter Profiles page at Ning. I am very much a canon girl, much to the chagrin of my friend (and new HiH Slytherin) corruptravnclaw. Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione are my favorite ships, and I love to read smut.

I like colors, MUSIC (24/7 please), and art [photography is the bane of my existence and the craft that makes my heart beat]. I thrive on laughter and tend to be happy whenever I can manage it. My main fandoms include HP (of course) and Supernatural. Dean Winchester is the man. Hmm..I'm a total movie addict, as for example yesterday I watched two movies when I should have been doing schoolwork or sleeping. Also, I love odd little things that totally make a day. I'm Stephanie, I'm 21, and currently the most noticeable thing about me is that I have peacock-green hair. Short, fluffy peacock-coloured hair. :D The second is the multiple facial piercings. The third is probably the enormous black New Rock biker books with the metal riveted onto them that I insist on wearing everywhere. The fourth... really, I don't think people look past numbers one to three. Their loss. :D

I am blunt, abrasive, sarcastic, utterly facetious, inutterably obnoxious and sometimes rather funny. I'm not nearly as pretentious or as attention-seeking as I come across, and I'm twice as friendly. I'm told I intimidate people. I don't mean to. I just suffer from an excess of personality. It spills over.

I read a LOT. Twenty-seven and a half books so far this year. I'm currently reading Robin Hobb's Fool's Fate and really struggling with it, because it's TOO DAMNED TRAGIC. :( :( I am obsessed with D&D rules. I play a lot of RPGs. I really, really do read a lot. When not reading, I can be found at my shitty call centre job, saving up money to go to college and be a scientist. Science is DELICIOUS.

Really, though, When I Grow Up I want to be a published author, if I can ever climb over my enormous ego. Seems unlikely, doesn't it? :D

I'm a secretary with aspirations to become an attorney. I enjoy sushi, and cooking, and writing, and ... okay and killing myself for writing very bad sentences. Ahem. I have too many hobbies, some of which include: those listed in the rambly sentence above, reading, watching anime, cosplay, costuming in general, sewing in general, crafting in general, various Pony Island breeding projects, roleplay. I've fallen off of the fandom radar, and I honestly can't say what I'm obessing about at the present. This makes me feel ashamed. My name is Rebecca and I'm 22. I'm a proud Hufflepuff and take lots of pride in my house.

I'm going to be going to graduate school for Rehabilitation Counseling and I can't wait. I used to dye my hair crazy colors a few years ago: magenta, blue, purple. I'm debating about growing it out or keeping it short. I'm quite the fan of piercings, I have a few.

I would definitely say I'm a geek. I love reading, some anime, fandoms, and I have my own shipper things: Draco/Harry, Draco/Hermione. My other fandoms are RENT, Twilight, and Law and Order SVU. I have a soft spot for Mariska Hargitay.

I say that music is my heroin, but I don't want that to sound dangerous or creepy. I try to bring my ipod most places, between classes, and I like to have music surrounding me. I wanted to be a music major, but I wasn't accepted - I like to keep it in my life somehow though. I mainly play violin, but I used to play piano, clarinet, and a handful of other instruments -- whatever I could get my hands on.

I've been getting into Magic: The Gathering -- now if I could only get myself to go to gaming club on campus to see if people would play. I have two decks and I like playing. I don't know why I stopped playing a few years ago, I think I should have gotten into it sooner.

I like Twilight. Some things seem a bit unrealistic and far fetched, but I can't help but have an addiction to it. I'm on Team Edward, if there were teams going around.

One last big thing about me is my LGBT pride. I'm bisexual and proud of it. I will always support LGBT and anything related. I have a huge pride flag on my wall right next to my bed.

My name is Izabella. I'm 25 years old and I'm a fanficaholic. I was drawn into HP against my will a little over three years ago when I went with my friend to her boyfriend's house. They wanted some alone time, so they put on HP and the Sorcerer's stone. The next day, I rented the rest of the movies that were out and was like, H/D baby! Since I was already familiar with slash from the LOTR fandom, I knew that I could go online and find lots of goodies :D

In my spare time, I'm an accounting student working on my second degree. My first degree is in Germanic Studies, and I work as a freelance translator. Writing is my main hobby, but I also like photography and jewelry-making. I used to play the piano, and I was very good at it, but I just don't have the time to commit to it.

I consider myself a Slytherdor. My main motivation in life is to have fun and get some attention while doing it, but I also love money and being able to prove myself, especially if someone tells me I'm not capable of something.

I have a fascination with all things paranormal (tarot cards, magic, spirits, etc.), and enjoy reading fantasy/paranormal novels. My favorite band is Nickelback. I love animals and am owned by two African Grey Parrots named Coco and Draco.

Joy of joys, points to talk about myself.

I am Charyse, a Virgo (if you take that kind of thing seriously) a Rabbit (see previous) and a Gryffindor. This gets old hat but I am multilingual. I am in my final semester of undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota and in May, I'll be getting my degree in Physiology with the hopes of becoming a medical doctor at some point down the road. I am currently in the process of applying to grad school for Exercise Physiology and gearing up for the grueling process that is med school applications this summer.

Skill set: English, French, Danish, enough Italian to get by, 2.5 dialects from the Philippines, the .5 is really iffy, cooking (if only i can send you food over the interwebs), piano (16 years is a long time), contralto (need an evil queen? hire me), the ability to pick up any musical instrument, except brass, curse the brass, and get the hang of it within a couple hours (twinkle twinkle little star is pretty much it), biological sciences, the unification of Germany (though I think I've romanticized this), downhill skiing (the steeper the better).

I love: Hawaii, sunglasses, tea, Scandinavia, the UK (sorry Ireland, I haven't visited you yet), the French countryside, Berlin during the Euro Cup, television (oh too much), and medicine. I even have UpToDate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UpToDate) on my blackberry in the highly likely chance that I'll get bored and want to know the contraindications of whatever drug is being advertised or catch up on my favorite surfactant protein.

My delivery is deadpan and I'm uncouth and (generally) unpretentious. If you're looking for me in any of my classes, I'll be in the back with the turquoise chuck taylors (by the way, I love the colour turquoise), doing the crossword. Else, I'll be watching episodes of House with my physiology notes open from last semester.

Hi! I'm Rose and I'm 20 years old. I only just got accepted here at HiH so I'm a little nervous about posting anything but what the heck, it can't hurt right?

For many, many, many, many years of my life I was an obsessive Harry Potter fan... then the sixth and seventh books came out and I was actually really disappointed and kinda stopped caring for a while. But now I'm back because what the heck, that's what fan fiction is for amiright? HP has given me wayyy too much enjoyment to give up on it now. :)

Other than HP, I my fandoms are Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, Torchwood, NCIS, and pretty much anything shojo anime. :P I'm pretty bad at keeping active in many of those fandoms, but I lovvve to read tons of fan fiction and look at fanart and occasionally post in discussions. So yeah, I'm a chronic commenter.

In the non-interweb world I am a psychology major with a music minor. I sing and play trumpet and recorder. Yeah so music ensembles pretty much consume my life, but its fun and I love it. I also lovvvve movies and knows tons and tons of trivia. :) My favorites are Casablanca, Sunset Blvd., and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Yeah I was wicked sad when Paul Newman died. *tear*

Okay, forget the video. I keep getting distracted.

My name is Kelley, I'm nineteen, and no one ever spells my name correctly the first time. My mom threw in the extra "e" because she thought "Kelly" was far too asymmetrical and she made it look more balanced. Considering her kids are all some degree of OCD, I thank her.

I'm a Leo/Virgo (http://www.astrology.com/allaboutyou/cusps/leovirgo.html) and also a Snake. This adds up to a Theatre major with advanced English courses in her workload.

I can't speak any languages other than English, but I can sign a bit and am skilled in picking up dialects. My favorite is Cockney (although this made it difficult to keep to Standard British in my Voice and Diction class), but I'll occasionally slip into Irish just because it's fun. Apparently, though, my most shocking is my "little girl" voice, "debuted" during the readthrough of Wait Until Dark, in which I will be playing Gloria. I look young (hence my beating a thirteen year old for the part of Gloria), but my voice is very flat and quiet. I'm sure it shocks everyone except the customers at the Coffee Beanery when the perky voice comes out of my mouth.

I love to cosplay, but I don't have much to develop on quite yet. I'm going to audition for a Death Note collaboration project on YouTube, but my characterization of Matt is dull at best and I haven't even come close to finishing my Mello yet. Hey all,

I am Andromeda and you can call me Andie! I am a 33 year old married lady and well you can put that "old" after my age and before the married, because I am an old married lady!

I love the HP fandom, why else then because we are the greatest fans on earth! I learned that from my fellow puff about 7 months ago! I am a lover of both the books and movies! Not the movies you say, well the movies are what provoked my readership! I love the movies and up until I really committed myself to the fandom I really had no problem with Dan Radcliffe's gorgeous blue eyes :squees: and brown hair. I love them equally for different reasons. First of all, if you help sort me then you will know that movies are my passion and my life. Therefore, these movies are so lovely and creative. I love the books because it prompted me to get back into reading as an adult and find I truly love to read! I know you didn't ask for a dissertation but there you have it.

I work in a clinic for a major university/hospital system in my area. I have the most boring, tedious, and cantankerous job on earth! Not to mention the people! Next!

I am very diverse and open. I have a bad side, which apparently no one saw when I was sorted as I kept getting wonderful comments. I guess I will use that bad side to blindside the other houses when I rake in all the points, YEAH!

I love hanging out with my assortment of colorful friends, all which have a live journal, a facebook, a myspace, a yahoo, a gmail, or a hotmail account! The internet has taken over. My children, whenever I have them, are going to be born with a modem attached!

My hubby is a lovely chap and he supports my obsession, I mean my healthy love of HP. He has also been snatched by the body snatchers and is now on the third book(POA),FTW!

I'm Shivawn, though for some reason everyone's started calling me by my last name, so you can call me Ambrose. I'm a publicist/session guitar and synth/keyboard player for the industrial/thrash scene. I spend three nights a week in a semi-large nightclub in Odessa, TX and the rest of the time I'm... either hauling ass on the interstate or doing a show six hours away from home. I live, sleep and breathe metal and nothing else.

I graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a BA in political science and...used it for absolutely nothing. And I don't plan to. I like extreme sports and things that result in cheap thrills like rock climbing, speed racing on farm roads at three in the morning, snowboarding, wakeboarding, base jumping, things that are generally stupid, &c. I have a soft spot for delicious rock stars like Alessandro Cortini, James Hetfield, Christoph Schneider, Dero Goi and the like.

I'm Seventeen from England.
I like to sing, and act and sometimes I might do you a little dance as well.
At the moment I'm auditioning for drama schools in the Kingdom of Unity
but I don't really know what I'm doing with my life.

I'm not good at much else, really.

I've just finished a production of Oklahoma, which was amazingly fun
and am about to start something new
[although our director is yet to tell us what].

I enjoy skittles and Disney and Maths and clothes and RINGS
and films and JELLY TOTS and... well a lot of stuff really.

I am Kai. I am one of two marvellous Slytherin Prefects here, and also have my fingers in lots of other HiH pies. ;D I'm 24, in my third year of law school (graduating in December), and I am a total slacker. I wuz gonna have pics in my post, but I don't have any good ones on my photobucket and I'm at work. :P

Anyways. I like to go by twistedpuppet when I'm on the net mostly because I hate using my name due to ingrained paranoia. :P I used to keep my online and irl separate, but the more I was online and seeing how confidant I was online, at some point I decided to act the same irl as I do on the net. I used to play this online game called Imperial Conflict. But eventually I got bored with all the in game drama. I also didn't like the way I reacted to it. After I retired from playing I lurked on the forums a lot. It was then that I sort of became a troll. :P I would randomly take up the opposing side just for kicks and giggles.

IRL I like to game a lot. I like video games and role playing games along the lines of BESM and D&D. I also play Warhammer 40k. I have a sweet Black Templar army and am currently contemplating getting an Eldar army. I like movies and music. Currently I'm playing Fable II because I don't have the money for Fallout 3 and my friend lent his copy to someone else. Once a week I head over to my friend's house for our weekly role playing game. The game we are running right now is a mix between Warhammer 40k and Fallout 3. I rather like it. Although, I might like it more if I didn't have to start out as a scout. I want my powa armor! :P I hope we get to play 40k again soon tho because I've been boning up on the rules again and I'm not going to get bum rushed by a rule that someone got completely wrong. I've even highlighted the section that is up for debate.

Online, I do a bunch of different things. Mostly I'm just reading news or different forums or various things here on lj. Mostly I've been reading a forum that protests scientology. I also read my local paper's online edition. I try to refrain from reading the comments because a lot of the people on there are extremely ignorant to the point that you wonder how they're on the internet if they are that stupid. That is why I sometimes troll them if I don't feel like actually contributing to the debate. muwahahahaha. :P

OOOOOOHHHH!!!!! I forgot to tell you guys about my obsession with SPN along with House. :D Squeeeeeee! Also I like the show Dexter and Six Feet Under. I have this weird morbid thing going on lately. Although, I didn't like the character Claire from Six Feet Under because I felt she was a whiny little emo kid and for some reason I REALLLY don't like whiny little emo kids. This is also the same reason I despise Sasuke from Naruto. He's a whiny little emo kid that needs the snot beat out of him. Oh wait, that already happened and he STILL was crying "i want to get strong so i can killz mah brudder cuz he killed mah family." BAWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!! Shut up you stupid whiny little emo kid! Ur brother will always be stronger than you and it's Naruto who will end up killing him. Why? Because Naruto is destined to do so. The show is named after him! Bah!

Gerry, a.k.a. sanggre_habagat in all its permutations and misspellings, is a 16-year old student currently residing in Manila, the Philippines. He's a Statistics major at De La Salle University, and has a love-hate relationship with all things related to math. On HiH, he was a former Slytherin in a term waaaay back, until he was resorted in Ravenclaw after two years of inactivity. He went on to become Transfiguration Club leader, Debate Leader, Yearbook Editor (an post which he no longer holds), and Prefect. He's a random reader, dabbles in graphic design, and writes for his real-life school paper. If Ravenclaw doesn't win the cup this term, watch out - this certain Prefect wants to see his second win!

Gerry likes animé (especially the works of Rumiko Takahashi and CLAMP), Arashi (especially Nino), The Disney Channel, and Avatar: The Legend of Aang (I SHIP CANON SO THERE).
