These leaders will find an icon post in hh_clubs which holds your Official Icons. Also, please being work on your club as soon as possible. Let's get the ball rolling kids! Congrats, again!

Please take note: No IDs will be allowed to have clubs listed unless you are a member of said club. Same goes for Animagus listings. Old ID tags will be allowed for use until the next Hogsmeade weekend, where it is reccomended that you purchase a new one with the appropriate information on it.

Simply make a post in hh_clubs with the subject of your club, and get things going. However you wish to start it off! If you'd like to have a membership post, then start with asking everyone who wishes to be a member to either fill out an application, or volunteer, however you wish to handle it. Then when you're ready, post the first activity. There are no formal rules for this area of HiH -- I want it to be fun and open. Good luck!

So, since I'm not a member of hogsmeadeweekend and there is neither a potions club nor a speedbroom racing club, what do I do with my ID?

If I had an idea, what to do in that club, I'd open up the second, but I'd have to think about activities first, right...? Hm, perhaps I'll hand in an app for it soon...

Well, but what about the potions? Is there no student out there with a little pitty for me? ;)

There is the option of the Wizarding Games Club, which has yet to be taken over. And we will allow original clubs, once the already offered clubs are taken. :) Just keep an eye out for that.

First of all, I'm honored that I'm a club leader, and will be snagging my icon in a matter of moments...but first...

I am going to be gone for a month this summer, and I'm also starting college this fall, so there might be a week in August where I'm "indisposed". Is it possible to ask for an "assistant" club leader to help me run things, mainly when I'm gone? Post the application that I had to fill out, and then have the same people, including myself, vote on it? And if for some reason I have to leave (God forbid) They could have first dibs on my position?

I'm not saying that I can't take on the responsibility, because I can! I just want to be sure that when/if I'm gone that there is someone here running things, espically if I'm gone during a Hogesmeade visit!

Other then that, I'm good..Keep your eye (and wand!) out for the dueling club!!

Why not instead, when the time comes, just ask one of the members to watch over things for the week that you are gone? Or, even just put the club on break for a week, let members have fun and practice if they want. I'm sure that everyone will survive for a week!

I think that should work fine. By then you should have an idea of who your top participators are, and who knows and understands the rules best. And, likely one of them will be willing to cover things temporarily.

Also, I think that if you wanted to ask for an assistant within the club, you could probably do something like that. Maybe just let whoever wants to apply, then post the applications up in the club, and ask the members to vote for their favorite. Just that I really don't think Bunny or any of the officials need to be going over a dozen more applications for club assistants ;) Different clubs are going to operate on different rules, and the whole endeavor is a bit less formal than the rest of this community.

Club you're interested in running: Wizard Games Club

What ideas would you have for this club? What acitivities/contests/etc?: Besides creating new wizard games; I want to give broom enthusiasts (like me) a chance to fly sportively without being in a Quidditch team, thus the idea of my "flying circus"... er... the speedbroom races (which are canon btw.)... there could be activities like "Pimp my broom" and races around the lake (I already have an idea how to do that...); and of course there's wizard chess... I found the good old battle chess while surfing the internet (the link to the download is in my lj)... there could be chess tournaments and games among friends...

Will your internet time be limited for any reason?: Since most of the other club leaders are also not ALWAYS online, I think using the connection of my girlfriend and posting once or twice a week will be okay, won't it?
