This gives everyone time after christmas to get their points in, etc, etc and it gives us an extra week of sorting points!

So, lets all get ready for this guys.

Don't forget officials applications will be going up in about two weeks, they'll be the icontest and lots of other fun things!

hey Sas, I had a little suggestion for officials apps. I think a short summary of the postions should be posted either before the apps or with them so that people applying know exactly what they will be expected to do if they get the postion. Just my two cents here :)

Oh! I second this. Some new officials (myself included when I just started out) tend to be confused with their duties. I think Lorelei's suggestion is really good. :D

I guess so. I always assumed if someone wanted the position they should already have a good idea of how the community runs and what's entailed. idk, I suppose we could.

I was thinking more of behind the scenes kind of stuff that may be obvious to people who have held postions but not to people who haven't. And it might help the people who aren't mods/haven't ever been mods to have a bit more respect for the work that the mods do.

I think the positions held question should be yes or no because when we list our positions it becomes more obvious who that person is. Kind of takes the anonymity out of the voting process.

Ditto. If people just said yes/no and then maybe 1,2,3... terms, it would still let people know what their experience is without knowing for certain who they are.

Oooh! Does that mean I can run a fifth scavenger hunt for December then (Dec 28-Jan 3), too? An opportunity for Houses to get some additional points and individuals to get some extra knuts right down at the end there. :D
