So, who wants to help amuse me?
Nov. 26th, 2008 03:51 pmHonestly, I'm stuck at work for another hour and totally bored.
So, anyone got anything amusing? Anyone want to talk about something?
...I'll even stretch to anyone want to remind me of something, anyone want to tell me what's wrong with them in hih, problems they're having, something I said I'll do that I went and forgot?
...anything?

Date: 2008-11-26 04:29 pm (UTC)This version is a frame tale told in a holding prison of the Inquisition. Lots of great dialogue and witty banter.
I enjoy it greatly. LOL

Date: 2008-11-26 04:43 pm (UTC)What's your favorite? Can be screen or stage.
Stage would have to be Wicked. Saw it in London.
Screen would have to be The Slipper and the Rose

Date: 2008-11-26 04:56 pm (UTC)I have seen RENT on stage 7 times before the movie came out and it became so popular! *is still pissed*
I love Wicked, but that's almost played out, as well. I still love it though. My friend Courtney and I always say "You're the pink to my green..." as we are very close friends but so different. (She is a very pretty blonde and city girl Galinda & and I am her Country bumpkin, little sister is a crazy, and kind of snippy Elphaba! Even my old License plate was ELFABA 2)
I want to see Ave Q on stage so bad... i have a bootleg on my computer! LOL
I enjoy the music from Into The Woods and Cabaret, as well.
*is such a tool*
Screen? JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT! I LOVE DONNY OSMOND! LOL
And Ummm.... Fiddler on the Roof. It's just so funny to me. and still very powerful.
..ugh... I could go on and on so I should stop now.

Date: 2008-11-26 05:03 pm (UTC)Saw Wicked in London as a family thing. *grin* Chris is the light to my dark, so we have fun.
I saw Les Mis while still in college. Not good if you have someone close to you who is about ten years old at the time.
I've seen Phantom. Lovely, powerful, and classic.
Miss Saigon - very interesting when you have come out to your Catholic parents and they see it with you. *shifty eyes* Anyway...
Fiddler with Topol is very classic. I love it.
Saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as a touring production. It was good, though not my favorite.
Cats was over-rated. I know, I know, heresy on two levels
I should stop too, and you are NOT a tool LOL

Date: 2008-11-26 04:52 pm (UTC)Hm. Is it all the points from the beginning of the term? Damn, it is. Oh hell, just go for it, but how about you only add it for people that participated in that activity anyway? idk.
oh heck, just go for it...

Date: 2008-11-26 06:04 pm (UTC)Is there a way to submit miscellaneous points so that way it wouldn't fall under the participation section?

How, then, am I commenting on this post?

Date: 2008-11-26 06:34 pm (UTC)I'm in Lebanon, in a back alley following some clues I got at a bar trying to track down an arms smuggler that is working with some Mediterranean pirates. And I'm not posting this by magic. They full keyboard and satellite internet on my wristwatch is just that awesome. I keep in touch with interpol via their LJ comm, but I can't give the name it away, even though it's well-disguised as some sort of fannish activity.
You didn't think I really taught K-12 math, did you? Ick, how boring!
