The holiday of Thanksgiving is upon us, it is a time to think about what we are grateful about.

What are you grateful about being a member of Hogwarts is Home?

I am gateful for all the friends that I made here. I have found some really good friends through this community, they have given me great advice and cheered me up when I was down.

I have spent a bit too much time on this site, but I have really enjoyed it. I've got to meet some great people and of course, got to talk about my favourite book :)

I'm thankful for all the friends I have on LJ (really, they are an amazing support system) and for my friends and family irl and the lovely escape of fanfiction and LJ.

I'm so new I still have a clearance sticker somewhere on me, and I am grateful to have made so many good friends so fast--they helped get me through the first night after my mother's passing. They didn't have to stick with me, they didn't have to give me the time of day, but they chose to allow me to 'curl up' in their midst, while they both took care of me and kept up a degree of normalcy. You really don't find that everywhere; and those are just a few of the people from one house!
