I think my best friend would be Luna. Even though she might seem a little weird I think she would be a great friend becuase she is a good listener, dosn't seem to judgemental and she tries to help her friends out.
My own best friend comes off as quiet, but in fact she's one of the craziest people I know. When she was visiting me, she literally chased down some pedestrians on my street and invited them into my house! Because we had too much beer. She has a real love for life. She's especially good at understanding people, at psychology, and she deals with things boldly and head-on. She knows that there's a time for silliness and a time for seriousness. I guess the HP character I consider to be most like her would be, probably Ginny. If she's being quiet it's because she's thinking about you and what makes you tick.
Depends on the era. I DO tend to get along best with guys, so I probably would have been happy to hang out with the Weasley twins or Jordan. If it was earlier, my best friend would DEFINITLY have been Remus Lupin.
I would probably say Ginny or Hermione, i'am like Luna and very flightly and i need someone to fight my battles (Ginny) or to make me se sense before i do something stupid (Hermione).
I could easily see myself being friends with Hermione and Luna because I think I'm kind of a combination of both. For guy friends, I'm going to say Neville and Ron. Neville just seems impossible not to be friends with him. And Ron has a great sense of humor that I love.
I might get along with some of the lesser known Ravenclaws or Slytherins, but of the ones we know most about, I have to say Neville. I like his quiet confidence, I bet he'd be an amazing friend. And I'd probably like Zach too, he seems entertaining. XDD
From the Marauder era, most likely Lily or Remus...James I would try to find ways to kick his butt for playing mean tricks on people...especially Severus (although I'm pretty sure Lily took care of that)!
I think Minerva McGonagall and I would have been great buddies if we were of an age!
From Harry Potter's generation? Hmmm...I'm thinking I'd enjoy Neville's company after the Yule Ball when he started thinking better of himself and Luna because I think she is one of the most interesting characters Rowling came up with. I've never met anyone quite like her in RL, but I can see the parts of her I liked in different people I knew in my teens so I think she and I would get along well.
Hermione I would like a lot too, we would be great common interest friends and would probably study or hang out in the library together doing research.
While I'd likely get along well with Draco, I'm not sure he and I would be best friends. My typical history with popularity would tend to work against me. Given that, Blaise or Theodore Nott likely.
I don't normally get on well with girls but I think Tonks and I would be tight. We have similiar personalities but are different enough that we wouldn't get bored with each other. I also think I'd get on really well, and I do mean REALLY well with Mr Diggory, if I could stop myself from annoucing my desire to have his babies every time we met :D
Well marauder era I would like to be friends with Lily but I couldn't resist the attention from the marauders so she'd probably get mad at me for wanting to talk to them. Err maybe Lily isn't such a great friend choice XD I would undoubtedly be friends with the twins. I love anyone who can make me laugh and their personality appeals to me. And I would just be in awe of Kingsley and really want to be his best friend, but he's just that cool that he feels like he doesn’t need friends XD
I would like to say Hermione, but I know we'd fight like mad... I'd LOVE to say Neville, but I think I'd be incredibly awkward around him, because he's just that epic. (ONLY HP character I could see myself being awkward around. Except for, you know, Death Eaters and all). Harry's Era, I'd have to say Fred and George. They kind of remind me a little of my friends, only much more extreme. Plus, they're hilarious!
Marauder's Era? Remus. He's amazing. Sirius is cool, but he was a pompous jerk in Hogwarts (as was James)... so Remus, definitely.
