What are you studying/What are you working as: Working P/T as a Sylvan math teacher, about to start P/T volunteer work at a local nonprofit zoo showing off the monkeys.

What are your posts normally about? Fic updates, HiH, asking my flist to make decisions for me, music uploads, book reviews, music discussion
How much do you talk to people on your friendslist off of LiveJournal? Twitter all the time, AIm a tiny bit, RL when RL allows
How do you normally find people to friend? I mostly wait for other people to ask me. If you build it, they will come!
Do your friends have to have things in common with you? Never "have to". There's no application process to be my friend, which is why I never really ask other people unless it's obvious we've already become LJ friends and it's gotten silly that we aren't friended. Otherwise, friendship is about an undefinable dynamic.

What are you studying/What are you working as: I'm a business writer, and I write articles for various places, mostly about real estate, the economy, and the stock market. Which means my job has been interesting lately! Lol...
On average, how many entries do you post per day? I usually post about once a day. Maybe a little less.
What are your posts normally about? Fanfiction (I write AS/S and H/D mostly), my radio show (dedicated to dishing about fandom and sex and stuff - not for the kiddies!), my husband and daughter and friends.
How much do you talk to people on your friendslist off of LiveJournal? I have a lot of people that I talk to on IM. Not a lot, since I have a tw-year-old which cuts into my online time. But I like to get to be "real" friends with people, too.
How do you normally find people to friend? The vast, vast majority have commented on something I've written and we've started talking and become friends. But I'll friend pretty much anyone who's interested. I love friends. :D
Do your friends have to have things in common with you? No, but most do because of the whole fanfic thing! Lol... But I have lots of friends from various places that I enjoy even though we don't have much in common.

What are you studying/What are you working as: I'm still stuck in the nine-year school; I had to remain in ninth form, seeing I've missed three years in total due to various illnesses. When I get to upper secondary school, I'll read civics, mainly because I haven't the faintest idea of what to do when I grow up.
On average, how many entries do you post per day? One. Sometimes it's one every other day, or it's several in a row.
What are your posts normally about? Fandom, mainly HP. Some real life anecdotes are thrown into the mix, as well as fangirling over music. I also rec fics and fanart a lot.
How much do you talk to people on your friendslist off of LiveJournal? Seeing my social life is LJ, not much? I'm actually rather unsociable, and like only having contact with people over LJ.
How do you normally find people to friend? Someone comments on a fic I've written or a drawing I've posted, our comment thread never ends and I find that we have a lot in common. Then I nervously ask if it's okay that I friend them.
Do your friends have to have things in common with you? Well, it certainly helps, seeing most of my conversations are fandom-related. Though it all depends on the person, really.
And it would be about a million times more convinient if you don't mind and/or like the actors in the HP films.Recommend something you have never recommended to anyone before!
1. A film: Well, Dogma is my immediate choice, but I recommend it at every opportunity. A film I've never recommended before... Oh, that's tricky. Hum, maybe Must Love Dogs? It's a terribly cute and charming romantic comedy. Sliding Doors is also brilliant.
2. A book: Good Boy by Inger Edelfeldt, but unfortunatly it's only available in Swedish. I enjoyed Tales of the Otori triology by Liam Hearn very much.
3. A song: At this exact moment? "Skull-Crusher Mountain" by Jonathan Coulton and "Night Drive" by Jimmy Eat World.

On average, how many entries do you post per day? Usually one but there are some days where I can make like idk, up to five
What are your posts normally about? Ooh a mix of RL and Harry Potter. Sometimes fanfic/art recs. My main ships are Remus/Sirius and Teddy/James. So it's mainly that any marauder stuff, but it isn't exclusive ;)
How much do you talk to people on your friendslist off of LiveJournal? I try to talk to them a lot. If we click we click and we can send emails and cards and care packages etc.
How do you normally find people to friend? Erm I don't think I have any friends that aren't in someway fandom related. So usually though friending memes like this or meeting in various places around HiH or the other HP lj comms I hang around in

I would assume we would have things in common on the basis that we want to be friends but if we just get on and don't necessarily match with music or whatever then that's fine. We'll always have HP in common and well that's enough for me :)

What are you studying/What are you working as: I work in Residence Life at a private university in Chicago. After a few years I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration and can't wait to get started on it (I thought I would relish not being in school, but I miss it already).

1. A film: Bam Bam & Celeste. I love Margaret Cho; she's amazing. This movie is more than a little odd, but it has a good message...at least I think so.
2. A book: Binge: Campus Life in an Age of Disconnection and Excess. It really made me think, not only about the students with whom I am working but also about my own habits and lifestyle. An eye-opening book.
3. A song: Shaniqua by Little T & One Track Mike (it makes me laugh)
4: A band: I don't really listen to "bands" but I guess I would recommend (that I've never recommended to anyone before) Wilson Philips. They're classic.

How do you normally find people to friend? Honestly, most of my flist is comprised of people who have liked either my fic or my icons or who like the communities I run.

What are you studying/What are you working as: I'm my dad's secretary...literally. <=P
On average, how many entries do you post per day? Three or four...on my personal page. Communities sometimes bumps that to seven or eight.
What are your posts normally about? Usually just a bunch of emo ranting about my nonexistent love life. Well, that or how much my muse hates me. =P
How much do you talk to people on your friendslist off of LiveJournal? Not much. There are a couple I e-mail or IM with, but not very many.
How do you normally find people to friend? They usually friend me first.
Do your friends have to have things in common with you? Usually, yes. What's the point of friending someone if you don't share things in common?

1. A film: The Punisher - Great comic to film adaptation, starring Tom Jane. It's dirty, dark, and sexy.
2. A book: Hmm...hard one. If I generally like a book, I recommend it to anyone who'll listen to me. So, something that I recommend less frequently... That would be either Twilight (except for the last book *shudder*) or The Chronicles of Narnia
3. A song: "Bliss (I Don't Wanna Know)" by Hinder
4: A band: Gah...if you'd asked for a musical artist, this would be easier. Since we're asking for bands, 3 Doors Down is my favorite.

1. Favorite Fandom: Oh, goodness! I just got into BtVS (no spoilers, I'm only in season 3!), but my primary fandom is still Tin Man. That one is slowly moving to the back burner, though...
2. OTP/OT3: Oh, goodness again! That's like asking me what's my favorite kind of chocolate. In Tin Man, I'm a Cain fanatic, but I don't really have an OTP there. In Buffy, I'm really rocking the tortured Buffy/Angel story line. In Torchwood, Jack/Gwen/Rhys rocks the boat. I'm also a Doctor/Rose fan. Really, my OTP/3's vary according to the fandom.

How do you normally find people to friend? through the HP fandom in various ways; most of my friends are HP nuts, and those not from a sorting community are H/D shippers like myself.
Do your friends have to have things in common with you? it helps that there is at least some common ground, but a few only have the H/D as common ground, and I find it very interesting to have friends who see the world completely different to me. So neither yes nor no to this question...

1. A film: Jabberwocky. Although this is a barbed recommendation, as I keep getting lost in the film, but it stars Michael Palin, and is (roughly) about the Jabberwock from Alice through the Looking Glass (one of my favourite books).
2. A book: This is so hard! All the books I want to recommend, I've already mentioned at least once to someone... Except the one I'm reading now (as I can normally only recommend after finishing a book) so: read Good Omens by Pratchett and Gaiman! Horribly trite recommendation, but the only valid one right now.
