Send an owl, save a tree!
Feb. 26th, 2005 09:32 pmI'm sure you have all heard/read something about this somewhere or other, but I want to take the opportunity to inform those who are still in the dark and to encourage those who are not.
Greenpeace is trying to convince Bloomsbury publishers to print Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince on ancient forrest friendly paper to help spare a few trees lives. I strongly encourage you all to visit this web site to become more informed about the cause and if you scroll to the bottom of the page you can send an owl to the publishers showing your support for the cause. I particularly like the message (it's one of those automated ones but you can change it if you like) that's sent in the owl because although it is encouraging, it's respectful and not overbearing.
So anyhow, go send and owl and then hug a tree! They're pretty and they give you clean oxygen!!!! Thanks for your time!
