I think that a debate over.. like how we feel about how the seventh book turned out in terms of the main questions (you know the ones.. is harry a horcrux, the prophecy, snape)

Why the Ministry and Voldemort never use a pensive or veritaserum to test the loyalties of Death Eaters (Voldemort to make sure he had no spies; Ministry to make sure they were really good, not just lying).

Well, there's always the classic whether Slytherins are all evil or not. I think a debate about the fate of the HP fandom after the final book would be cool, too!

The one thing I argue with my friends about the most would be snape. Whether his reasons for doing what he did (trying not to be a spoiler) were valid (ie: Lilly etc)

I always wanted to have some conversation over how ron and the trio act towards Draco's offspring in the epilogue. Ron tells his kid something to the effect of "hate that kid cause its draco's kid". It's kinda like...did they not learn anything? Or are they justified in hating the kids because Draco is a jibroni? I just figured they would be more accepting, and trying to teach that acceptance (or at least let their kids figure out on their own who is a good person and who is not). But yeah...something along those lines

Definitely prejudice. It's predominate in every bit of the series, but JKR seems to be saying "this type is bad, and this type is okay". For example: prejudice against people because of race (Muggle v. Wizard) is bad. Prejudice against people because of upbringing (rich-Slythern v. middle class-everyone else) is okay. The inherent contradiction is painful.

Another one is the lack of strong positive heroines. All the females we see that are proactive in the story are also evil. Even Hermione is entirely reactive.

I dont know if this counts exactly. But I've always wondered what Snape is doing in the HP 'after-life.' Like, is he finally happy up there? With Lily, even if Lily's spirit would be hanging around James? this is just something randomly floating in my head...

I think a debate needs to be had over the elder wand.
If Harry was able to become the master of it when he expeliarmus(ed) Draco who didn't even have possession of the wand at the time, doesn't that mean that if Harry is ever expeliarmus(ed) in his lifetime, then someone else will become master and curse of the wand will not be broken?

and eventually, the wizarding community most likely put two and two together (just like they did with the *chosen one* prediction) and find out about the wand, which will in turn make Harry a major target(because he is the wands master) and once again, and another fight for survival may once again ensue......
