Please bear with us as we try to rebuild. Things will be fantastic once we get them swinging again, and please remember that all of the other communities are still open, except for HH_Express. We will be working diligently for the next few weeks to get things back to normal. :)

hp_stillness is a weekly icontest community. If you enter, you can earn five extra points for your house by putting the phrase "Sort Me!" in the subject line of your entry.

We're going to start having monthly activities of Quidditch matches and debates, which brings me to...

The following positions are going to be open for those of you who are interested. You can find the application at the end of this post.

One Position for a Debate Leader This position will be partnered. The other person in this position is modest_tales. It will be your jobs to update every month with a new debate. There will be a schedule to follow, the only work you must do is come up with the ideas and post them. You also must work together to come up with a set of rules so that things do not get out of hand in the debates. If something does go wrong, you will have the power to deduct points in a professional manner.
Quidditch Coach This is perhaps one of the most exciting positions that we have open. The rules for our game of Quidditch may be found here. It will also take place once monthly, alternating two weeks from the date of the debate. It will also work on a schedule of what days the games are held, and which teams are playing. It will be your job to keep an eye out for foul play. You must be able to operate on instinct.
Quidditch Captains There are four slots available for this -- one from each house. This position will require you to choose your House team through an application to post that will be provided to you. You must be trustworthy, and you must be fair. You will also pick your own position on the team, based not on what you want but on what you feel you would be best at. Again, the rules for Quidditch may be found here.
Diagon Alley Moderator jupluna has taken on Hogsmeade fully since I've moved up, and so we need someone to Mod this new community. It won't be ready to open until the beginning of next year, but this is what it entails. It runs full time, and it operates on a simple comment format. The stores are going to be posts, and then "buyers" leave comments at the appropriate store, telling you which item they'd like to purchase. At the end of every week, you go through the new comments and deduct their Gringotts accounts for their purchases. Then delete the comments to make a fresh start for the next week. Eventually, members will be able to make their own (approved) shops to sell things like icons, banners, etc.
Designer This position entails designing LJ layouts and a website that you would update monthly. Simple HTML skills and some graphics skill required.
Member of the Order of the Phoenix This group is our army of HH. There will be two chosen from each house, and all will be under the direction of _lostandjaded_. It will be your jobs to recruit new members and up our number. Spare time needed for this one!
