Also, don't forget that [livejournal.com profile] hh_diagon is open! Your bank accounts will be updated within the next 24 hours.

Also, due to a suggestion made by a newer member, I'll be working on an FAQ for new members. So, newbies in particular, what would you like to see addressed? It's difficult for others who know their way around to think of tidbits to include!! Thanks!

Just a note, you might want to fix the [livejournal.com profile] platform_934 link.

As for what to put in the FAQ, maybe a link to the voting guidelines, dos and don'ts for posting in the main community, like is it okay to pimp related communities or can you initiate discussions over certain HP things. The obvious polite thing and respect other houses. Maybe a bit more of an explanation on what you do at [livejournal.com profile] hogsmeadewkends and [livejournal.com profile] hh_diagon, what prefects do (and any other special roles), how to enter contests, things like that.

Um, as a semi-newbie, things that would be useful to be adressed on an FAQ would be information about how to earn points/knuts and what each can be used for. Also, information about how one joins the Quidditch Teams, or the Order, or any other group outside of the individual Houses- I see information about them from time to time, but I don't know what they do or how I can join in. Even if slots aren't open in them, it'd be nice to know, just so that we at least have some idea of what's going on.

I just have a few questions retaining to quidditch. I'll also ask [livejournal.com profile] intotheheart as well. When are the Quidditch matches gonna be schedualed for? I'm thinking there may be a whole new one, as none of the games have taken place so far. My team has just been asking about it, and I'd also like to know what's going on as well. Thanks!

P.S. Whoever suggested a FAQ is a genious! It's an awesome idea!

And relating to this question, try-outs are done for, correct? I was just wondering about this because I thought I had seen something about try-outs ending when I had just joined, so I hadn't a chance to try-out. That and the last time I checked, Slytherin has one team member. I'm interested in a position, so I figured I should find out what all is going on with that. Thanks in advance.

Try-outs for the other houses are done. I think the Slytherin House is in dire need of some players. I suggest talking to [livejournal.com profile] intoxic about a position. She's the Slytherin Cap't. :)

As mentioned above, I think that a master spreadsheet or whatnot listing how to earn points and/or knuts would be awesome! Also, more information on the main communities and subcommunities would be helpful. And... um... I also like the idea of some sort of "How to Sort", not really rules, but suggestions of things to consider--especially traits that are sometimes overlooked, and how just because someone isn't a stereotype doesn't mean they don't belong in a certain house.

The suggestions above are all great too.

I actually wrote something for the Sugar Quill contest, but then discovered that the community has moderated membership and can't post it yet! (though I was a dumbass and posted is as a comment like you do with the contests here, before discovering that's not how it's done).

:(

This leads into my next suggestion for the FAQ or info page: Maybe explain in nice big letters which of the communities are moderated membership. Because some are and som aren't and it can be a little confusing. Thanks.

I'm so sorry. Influenza and school are both keeping me rather busy at the moment. :(
