W.O.M.B.A.T. grade 3 is up!!!

Just a note to say that the Grade 3 level of the W.O.M.B.A.T. test are up on jkrowling.com.

They are in the Room of Requirement, so if you want to figure it out on your own, be my guest. For those of you as impatient as I am, I bring you the cheater's code:



Highlight to see:


1) On the main page of jkrowling.com, click on the pink eraser. This will take you to the RoR.

2) Once you're there, wait for the fly to land on the window. Click on the fly and hold. The fly will turn into a key.

3) Drag the key to the door to unlock it. Once opened, the door will reveal a desk. On top of the desk will be a W.O.M.B.A.T. test and three objects - a triange, a circle and a bar.

4) Drag the circle so that it sits on top of the bar. It will sparkle if done correctly.

5) Drag the triangle so that it sits on top of the circle + bar. It will sparkle, then drift off of the test booklet. Click on the booklet to begin!! XD


If you do not remember/have lost your Student I.D. from the last time you took the test(s) - none of which are still available, btw - you may simply click the 'no' button when it asks if you have your code. It will then issue a new code when you complete the test.

Happy test taking! I may post a poll in a few days when the grading is done to see how we all did...because I'm competitive like that. ;)

When you open up the test, it asks you like...if you want to continue taking it or something. Then it asks if you have a student i.d. so that it can track your results, blah blah blah. Just click no there...it's not a physical button, it's a coding button. Sorry for the confusion. XP

So....as for the key, you're waiting until the fly lands on the window above the plant (as opposed to the mirror on the right side of the screen), yes? You click on the fly and hold your mouse button down to make it change into a key. That should work so long as you clicked the pink eraser on the main desk. If you're in another place, those flies won't work. The eraser has a '?' above it when you hover your curser over it. =/ Hope that helps a bit...

And no, it doesn't matter if you haven't taken the others. This test will issue you a new Student I.D. Just make sure you write it down or save it somewhere - you'll need it to retrive your grade. And the other tests are not up for retaking, as far as I know. These are one-time-only things that if you miss them, you're SOL.

I am having the SAME PROBLEM because I was going elsewhere before but now that I am in the right place I am clicking and holding and NOTHING IS HAPPENING.

Wow. Um....well, I just went back to the RoR, and the fly turned to a key for me. You do have to click and HOLD on the fly, then drag the key to the door. If you just click on the fly but let go (as if you were clicking on a link, for example), it won't do anything.

=/ I'm really bummed people are having problems, but I don't know how else to tell you to do it. =(

I mean I am clicking and holding and eventually I opened up Monty Python in another window and watched it while I was holding the stupid thing and it still won't turn! Perhaps I'll try on a different computer later. This is weird.

Veeeeery strange. because it turns almost instantaneously when I click and hold, even if it's just for a second. Bummer. It may be something with how Flash works on your compy or something. Boooo....

Maybe it's a firewall thing. Try disabling it for a bit and see if that works.

Also, I have Firefox, so I'm unsure if it works the same in IE. But srsly, IE is TEH DEVUL and you should get Firefox. XP

I already have firefox, been using it for years. I tried the firewall thing, too, but it didn't work. so much no love!! :( I'll keep trying, though.
