I know it's not many knuts (5 MEASLY KNUTS :\), but my username under D is wrong. Is the 15 at the end left off for a reason? Could that even make a difference? Just to make sure any I do earn don't get put in the wrong vault?

I posted earlier this week on the Diagon Alley Vaults entry about this but...

I've got points for both my old account (kakusareta) and this new one that I've moved to. My vault is still listed as my old account as well. I don't know if this brings up any points distribution errors, but I'd like to clarify that I have indeed moved journals since earlier last month. Just thought I should perhaps let you know. Sorry for all the trouble..

I think I should have 15 more knuts. I just double checked platform_934 for the week of Mar 4 to Mar 10 and I was a top sorter then too.

And on a slightly different note, are the sorting points only awarded to top sorters? Just curious because I voted for all except for one application the previous week- Feb 25 to March 3- and wasn't listed.

I'll check on the March 4-10 one for you. Sorry about that, you name hadn't been turned in, but it happens from time to time.

About sorting points, no, points are earned for your house when you sort, whether you're a top sorter or not. You only get the extra 30 points and 15 knuts if you are. The rest of the sorting points aren't separated by person, they're just counted together at the top of each group.

Ok, um, we earn knuts for participation, right? What we USE them for is what I don't get...or even know, come to think of it.

You can use them at [Bad username or site: http://community.livejournal.com/hh_diagon/ @ livejournal.com]. There, you can buy some things that are kind of useless, other than to put in your userinfo (hey, just being honest...), as well as some 'books'. Some of the clubs will give extra points during activities if you have the books for that subject, so it can help out there. Also, you can do what most folks do, save up the knuts to buy points at Shpadoinkles. Me, I always waited until the end of term to use them, just figured I'd keep them if it wasn't a close enough race for the points to matter, only using them if it might would've helped my house to win.

Ah, ok, I had a vague idea of that, with exchanging the knuts for stuff...just didn't know what. Thanks for the clarification! I'm kinda...out of it, to put it lightly. XD
