Animagus Coming This Weekend

Hello Hogwartians...

Everyone better add hih_animagus to their new communties because by Friday afternoon there will be applicants for you to vote on!!! This time I promise, I'm not gonna slack anymore!!! The details are pretty simple just like platform_934 you my HiH participants will vote people into one out of seven different animal categories ranging from mammals, reptiles, fish, etc. for 5 points and knuts each. You have to decided what type of animal category they belong in. And for an additional 5 points if you give me a specific animal like Jack Russel Terrier instead of dog than you will get those points for your lovely house, and it will help decide the future of a persons register animagus form. Just remember that theres a current list on the user page of hih_animagus and we have stated in the past that no one will have the same form so better hurry up before your favorite animal is snagged. Also starting next month animagus only contests will start so send in those applications♥

Hmm, I thought there was just a small animagus board, like a panel of judges if you will, who had discussions about people’s applications and a verdict was reached from there. I do hope things won’t get too insane here. With the amount of animals in the world, what happens if a person has like a six way tie?
Also that brings up some other questions though too. You mainly want people to vote on the type of animal (mammal, reptile, fish, etc.) That’s to better help the panel I thought decided people’s animagus in the first place, right? So whatever type wins, is that what you would pick from? Likewise with if people give more specific animals… that’s just to help the final panel out, correct? As I said before there are a lot of animals to choose from and if people don’t automatically sheep vote (no pun intended heh) there could be ties between everyone who participates in the voting. Ex. there are currently 26 members, if all of them picked a specific animal there could be a 26 way tie. Though, that does make me wonder, let’s say everyone votes and a large majority of the people think the applicant is best suited for a particular animal… Would that automatically be the panel’s final decision?

Okay, there I think I asked all the questions I needed to. Sorry if they seem like a lot, I suppose though a part of me at least takes this very seriously and just wants to see my animagus fit as perfectly as it can :)

First of all the small panel of judges is do away with just for fact that i would think more input of people will give out a better aspect than just four people deciding...if you understand my logic. And I don't think it will get to insane the way I'll set up the voting all comments will be screened so no worrying about sheep voting because people will actually put thought into what they have to pick...and in case of a tie its ultimately the person choice into picking their animagus form...we usually do give out 3 choices anywayz unless we find something that seems so right for the person and they agree to it ::like a specific mod who like seagulls::. And as of now there are 26 members but I assume that they'll be more, and the categories of animals and specific types would help greatly because if theres a pattern like an over abundance of a votes for example canine: but specifically sporty canines we might go with dogs like retreiver, collie, etc. so actually its to the benefit of you the animagus person to have more than one option to pick from? and if you protest your animagus form i'll try to do my best to help you find one that fits but realize that everyone can't always get what they want ::does that seem mean???::

Hey I kind of have a mildly stupid question ^^ If you have an ordered placed for the first 5 books of the Standard Book of Spells Series do you have to wait to officially have them in your 'Currently Owned Items' list or can you apply while it's pending?
