Hey Kat... just wanted to say hi and let you know that you were the hp_knitting member that led me here. I known there as yarnguy716. This is my slashy/fandom LJ which I decided to separate from the knitting/crafy journal. I mean could you imaging the members of my knitting guild reading my Ron/Viktor slash stories???

Anyways, this whole series of communities looks like a lot of fun. Also looks like I joined at the right time, with a new term just starting. Take care.

Most people do know that DaddyBear is also YarnGuy, but not everyone knows YarnGuy is DaddyBear. And it was more the ladies of my local knitting guild, who think I am a fine, upstanding young man ::grin:: that I was concerned with.

Though I have to admit I've had an issue with a few HP_Knitters. I posted a comment using this icon

And a bunch of them were all over me saying how offended they were by it. It was pretty much short of them calling me a pervert and pedophile. So I edited the post to change the user icon and decided to put my slashier fandom interests elsewhere.

I did wind up in Hufflepuff, which wasn't all that surprising. Most sorting site put me in either Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. I was also sorted into Hufflepuff at the Witching Hour and we won the House Cup! So I do have some Puff Pride going there.

It just so happens I have some Wool of the Andes in Yellow and Black, for a Hufflepuff house scarf. So that is on my list of future projects.

I thought you might have been put in Hufflepuff, but I wasn't quite sure. How'd you guys win the cup at The Witching Hour? And was it a good con? What was it like?
