heeeeeeey there! I've already met some of you, but for those of you who don't know me, my name is Lauren and I'm the new mod over at HiH Insomnaics. It's a fun community for we nocturnal creatures. :) But first we're having contest for any and all members of HiH! We need a new, more exciting look over at the community, so we're having a layout contest, in two parts, of course. This is part one, the header!

OK, so here are the details. You can use any nighttime photo from this (http://www.pbase.com/compuminus/cambridge) collection. The header must be 600 x 400 pixels.

i will not start taking submissions until August 3! I will make a post over at HiH Insomniacs where all the comments will be screened and you can post your header. After August 10, I will no longer take submissions and August 12-15 the voting will be open to all members of HiH and the winner will be announced on August 16. :)

The point breakdown is pretty standard.

50 pts, 20 knuts and header used in new layout for the winner
40 points and 15 knuts for second place
30 points and 10 knuts for third place
10 points for participation.

I hope to get lots and lots of entries! I'm very excited to see what everyone comes up with!! :)

Well that helps. I've made two that I really liked and couldn't choose between, so that's settled then :)
