Calling all Dragon*Con goers!

hogwartsishomeAlrighty, so with Dragon*Con swiftly approaching (less than two months!!) my curiousity is getting the better of rme, so I have to ask. Are there any other HiHers out there that are also D*C goers? Have you gone in the past? Are you going this year?
Me, I've been going since '99, but I didn't get to go last year since it was right after Katrina and there was the whole 'demolished house' thing to deal with (woo run-on sentences!), but we will be back this year. We usually stay at the Best Western nearby, but will be at the Marriott this year.
Oh, and if you know nothing about D*C, Go See!

There should be about 6 of us, all told, possibly more. 3 of us plan to dress up as Lancre witches from Discworld...I'll be Granny Weatherwax, the other two will be Nanny Ogg and Magrat. I think we'll have a Vimes and a Greebo-as-human, too. And if enough alcohol is imbibed, we might even be caught singing A Wizard's Staff has a Knob on the End, as well. *smirk*

I was thinking about trying to get together for lunch or something with a few of the HiHers, if you're interested? Checking with you guys here before doing another post to try to actually arrange anything. I was thinking something as informal as gathering at the food court or something like that would be fine. Thoughts?
