hh_stamping

Similar to other stamping/rating communities, but only for our HiH Members!! Fill out the rather short application (as you'll provide a link to your HiH application -- which answers lots of questions -- and if you're too old of a member to have one then most of your fellow members know you well enough to stamp accurately!), put it in the queue, and wait to be stamped!

You earn points for voting on applications similar to platform_934, so get on over and join!

We hope this will be a load of fun for everyone. The first few people to get their apps in will be pushed through the queue as soon as possible. So hurry before it gets too backed up! ;)

And you have to be a member to vote, both here and there -- everything is Friends Only and all votes are screened. :)

Both mine and Amy's applications are already up, and I'm dying to get a few more pushed through!

Yay! I totally started my application as soon as I realized that people were joining and apps could be posted. I've always avoided stamping comms before because it didn't seem like much except stamping, but this could be a fun addition to HiH!

Also, can we vote if we haven't been stamped yet? *stupid question, yes, but still feels the need to make sure* What I mean to say is...can we start voting now, if we're part of the community?

I think that's why there's a link to the sorting application! The stamping app is mostly to have directed questions about things which might be more noticeable about characters. I mean, could you imagine a Malfoy saying that Muggleborn and Pureblood wizards are equal?

I feel dumb. I submitted my app and then found my link to my sorting post in the Platform. Sorry, if it gets approved I'll edit it in to reflect the location of the platform app.

This will be great fun once I can do it. Right now I have 'earn my right to apply'. I have enough in my account to by the wand I want, but I also want to make sure I have enough left over too (you know, spend a little, save a little). But perhaps soon enough. (Even though the queue will probably be crazy full by then, as I imgine it's filling up fast already)

except i'll never be able to vote anywhere other than my friends page because the coding does not like my browser. yes, i know there isn't anything up yet because i haven't been approved but i'm assuming that graphic is supposed to be at the TOP, not the bottom?

Why do all the cool free layouts break in other browsers? Sucks. Does the HiH layout work all right for you? O_o

Anyway, as far as I know for sure, it works in IE and Firefox. Safari and Opera hate our layouts.

the HiH layout looks the same, but plaftorm 9 3/4 is perfect. WEIRD.

i'd sift thru the code and figure it out for you guys, but i have midterms and papers due next week. ugh. *cries*

it doesn't matter THAT much, i have a special potter friends page with all my HiH stuff on it and i usually vote/read through there. i just thought i'd let you guys know.

i hate firefox, it is 10x slower than safari. diee. but i do have to use it sometimes because i refuse to use IE.

I'm a little confused about what the stamping leads to: housing reassignment or something else? I'd go to the community's user but my computer doesn't pick up the colors.

Nope, no house reassigning! :) It's simply for fun, no strict enforcements attached to your character stamp.

... It's just a character stamp. If people get, say, a Ginny Weasley vibe from your application, they'll vote Ginny. And the results are done by majority vote.

Like lotr_ratings or phantom_rating.
