Is anyone aware of a place where it is possible to pre-order HBP? Online or in a store?

I have a Barnes and Noble, and a Waldenbooks. Anyone know if they do that? I am desperate to claim my own copy of that book, heh heh *grins fiendishly*

You probably can't pre-order until the bookstores recieve word of the release date. They don't all go on JK's site and try and figure out riddle's to the next book ;) You'll know when you can pre-order, it'll be big news *nodnod* Cause we HP fans have sooooo much influence ;)

I think that you need to at least wait for them to announce a release date, m'dear ;p

I know that I put my name on the list for OotP ahead of time at Waldenbooks, and I was like...4th on the list or something (basically beat out by employees), they didn't even have the ISBN yet to work with.

Once they have a release date, you SHOULD be able to order through Amazon.com at the very least. Look into putting your name on the list for a local B&N, see when they'll start taking names.

I'm on the email notification list at Amazon.com, so they'll email me as SOON as I can pre-order it. That's the only place I've seen that does anything like that.

I preordered it from Amazon.com -- for $17.99. It was $21 and change with shipping, which is less than list price. Yay!

I got an email this very evening about pre-odering HBP.

It was from Borders. But Amazon.com and Borders.com merged so they're one entity now so I'd check out Amazon. If you would like me to forward the email that I got with the correct link and everything, I'd be more than happy to!
