I'm going to extend the song challenge until Friday. There were an abundance of Ravenclaw and Gryffindor verses...but not so much from the other houses...and while that is normally ok for regular contests...its not so great for a contest in which house verses are needed for the sorting song. So...I'll be nice and extend it. (Not to mention I'm really nt feeling well...the tip of one of my fingers is numb and it's just making me feel all weird.)

I'm a huge History buff, so this college semester I am taking a class about the Holocaust. Yesterday we're in this huge discussion about how Hitler wanted everyone to be "pure-blood" and this guy in the back pop's up and says how it reminded him of the Slytherin's in the Harry Potter series and how they're always talking about the pure-bloods being the superior wizards. I thought this was very interesting (since I'm a Harry Potter buff as well) and took it to the "next level". I now have a whole "Theory" type connection thing going on...I think it's kind of neat (but freaky too) and I thought I'd share..

A few people community members have inquired about having necklaces made for them for Halloween and movie openings, so I went ahead and created a journal where people can easily contact me and see examples of my work and what I may currently have for sale. I'm open for commission jewelry and necklaces in sterling and hemp, my most recent peice being this little Gryffindor necklace that I've become exceedingly fond of. The necklace is for sale sold.
