HUGE favor to ask of you all.

I have a project due Tuesday in my Anthropology/Sociology/Psychology class, and we have to collect statistics.

I've posted a survey in my livejournal, where comments are screened, and I'd love you all if all of you who are aged 15 to 35 would reply. Not being ageist, just trying to make a small, yet accurate sample.

The survey is here. I ask that you answer all the questions only using the choices given, and no 'neither' or 'both' answers, because then your results are unusable.

I would, but when I glanced at it, the first question for me would be "neither." I don't lie. And I don't want your responses to be inaccurate, so... :( Good luck though! Let me know how it turns out (I'm a psych major so this is interesting to me).

i answered but i didn't really like the choices. i don't lie about my sexual past. i may not remember every single incident but i am truthful to the best of my knowledge

I answered too. Hope it helps. And alot of the questions are very involved, at least for me. It was hard to simply answer "yes" or "no".
Number 1 is tricky. Because I too, don't lie about my sexual past.

I answered in a screened comment, but I may as well tell you here that my results are automatically invalid because 1) I have no need to lie, 2) I'm asexual, and 3) I don't plan to ever marry.

It'd be helpful if I knew WHY you only have the two choices.

I did it. But, well, first of all, I am a virgin. The first question was weird because I have never lied, but I think people think I have done stuff.

And I am a hypocrite on the questions. When you get mine, you will see. I would have liked the first one to be niether.

You can't tell people not to answer "neither" or "both", because both are valid and truthful answers. If you tell people which answer you're looking for, then you're eliminating a pretty substantial majority of your results, and are not getting an accurate cross-section, and will skew your survey.

I would help you out and take your survey, but my answer to number one is neither. I am a virgin and proud of it. I woulld not lie and say I've had sex. I am abstaining until marriage and will proudly admit it. Therefore, neither answer to question number one is valid for me. Also, as someone who has had to do surveys for classes and has lots of experience doing so, not allowing an answer of neither or both will automatically skew your results and not give you an accurate sample. But, how you choose to run your survey is your choice, so maybe you have a reason for wanting to take such a sample. Hope you get enough replies. Good luck.

I started filling it out but I too found myself saying "neither" and just could not pick one or the other... to the first question, and the others didn't really seem to apply to my life... so sorry! Good luck, interesting topic.
