How long before I'll be allowed to join ravenclaw_house? I put my request in, but still haven't been accepted.

It probably won't be too long. The mods just have to get around to adding you, and sometimes that takes a bit, if they're busy.

I didn't see it as rude or anything. That's really too bad about losing points. It was just a question, and I think it was respectfully asked. It's okay to be eager to join with us Ravenclaws ^_^

I have to agree with you, Sara.

I don't really see a problem with the original post. Maybe the OP wasn't familiar with the community invite/request system? I hardly think that this is reason for deducting posts, and even a bit mean -- it's her first post, for goodness sake. I don't think this was the best decision, and I'm willing to put myself out there to say so.

I respect the decisions of the mods, and by no means am I trying to start drama. I just don't feel that this was a very good use of the point system, nor was it a very warm welcome to a new member of your own house.

It's okay -- I think your words were taken in the wrong way by our Ravenclaw Prefect. :) He meant no harm, but thought that you were being impatient when nearly everyone else agrees that you were just curious.
