Here's an interesting question for you.

Does anyone know of a way to make a designated sig tag to appear at the end of your posts every time? Either a client or...whatever? I've noticed some people seem to have pictures that tag themselves at the end of each post, and I'm wondering if you're typing those in EACH TIME (yuck!) or what.

i just go to my Photobucket where i loaded my sig tag and use it. there is no way to get it to automatically appear.

An easy way would also be to put your complete signature as code into a .txt or .doc file and simply copy and paste it into your posts/comments...

ooh, that's brilliant! i've actually had to wait on voting at times when photobucket's down, cos i can't remember the url and can't get to it to copy... you're a genius! i'm gonna do that right now!

That's what I do. I have the URL saved in a .txt file and just copy/paste it. I only use it when voting so it's not too inconvenient.

I use LJ's photo hosting, so it's not too hard to find the picture (it's in a top-level gallery), and right click "copy image location." Usually, I do all my HiH stuff all at once, or within a set time frame, so I just leave the window open for the copying, if necessary. There probably is a way to do it, but you'd have to use macros or something, and I'm not sure how.

(haven't used the clipboard since I last hit copy, it seems!)

i have my sig tag in a [private] post at the top of my lj so i can just click on the edit feature [check out my lj style] and then i copy the code.

Yeah, I just copy and paste the code. It's not too bad. Here's a question, how do you choose who on your flist you want to read an entry?

Manage -> Friends -> Edit Custom Friends Groups

Then add the friends you want to be in the group (a la, the friends you want to be able to read the entry), give the group a name and voila.

Oh, and P.S. When you post an entry you only want to be accessible to that group, you'd select the 'custom' option from the Security Level and then select the custom friends group you made.

i have it saved in notepad as "hogwartsvoting" and i just open it up everytime I go to vote, then I copy + paste. :)
