We didn't have debate in HS or at the Uni... was really hard to defend a position I didn't necessarily agree with.
I am SO GLAD no one took it to a personal or base level :)

I liked this. Up until now, I haven't been inclined to participate in contests, but this was right up my alley. It was great that the debate (or what I read of it, anyway) seemed to stay on topic and didn't get nasty.

I love Mock Trial Harry Potter style. LoL. It was a good way to get to know everyone. Plus very much enlightening. Just the way a debate should be. =) Can't wait for the next one.
