Well, I'm back.

I hadn't planned on posting one of those 'I'M OKAY!' posts, but after Juppy told me about all the well-wishers I couldn't help but thank you guys. :) Seriously, I went and read them all and.. it just made my day. You have no idea what thoughts like those means during times like these. *hugs you all to pieces*

As far as my home and family, it's a mixed tale. In the outer bands of the storm, it's pretty hit or miss. We just got power back about an hour or so ago, but most of the city is still without. Most of my family fared well except for a few bad incidents, but on the whole we were extremely fortunate and blessed. Mississippi and Eastern Louisiana however... looks like a warzone. :(

Lastly -- if you sent me an email, you'll be replied to eventually. My inbox looks like Katrina went through it as well. ;)

Thanks again you guys -- you make this place what it was intended to be: HOME. I missed you all more than I can even say, and I'm ecstatic to be back!!

So glad everyone out there is okay and yeah.. NOLA and Miss are pretty awful. I'm trying not to think about the fact that half the places I used to hang out at probably don't even exist anymore..
