May Text Contest -- Who's Who?
May. 2nd, 2005 12:10 pmI would just like to take a moment to remind all of our members that sockpuppet Live Journal accounts are strictly prohibited, and anyone caught using one will be banned without question. If you have a problem with what house you were sorted into, you'd do much better to have an appeal rather than trying to fool the Officials.
Onto this month's text contest, which I'm covering for Juppy. I think it sounds like a ton of fun, and I hope everyone else will agree!
The Hogwarts is Home Who's Who
So you joined this community. It's a play on the fabulous creation of J.K. Rowling. We have activities and communities that mirror that fantastic school -- so here's your chance to play an even bigger part!
Pick a fellow student and match them up with who you think they would represent perfectly in the world of Harry Potter. Their quirks, similarities, etc; go nuts! Nominations will be voted upon and a roster will be started to showcase our HiH Who's Who!
You are allowed to nominate anyone who is a member of
hogwartsishome -- Officials included, yourself excluded; leave the nominating of yourself up to someone else. Everyone can play!
Use the from below to nominate your fellow classmates in the screened comments -- you may nominate up to five members. Have fun!
Nominee (the LJ user):
Character (the HP character):
The reason why this person exemplifies the traits of said character:
Remember to make your case convincing!! It may end up going against others for a battle to see who claims that character!
You may use any character in the Potterverse. Anyone from Harry Potter himself, all the way down to Bertha Jorkins -- dead or alive, doesn't matter. There are no small parts! ;-D You may not use original characters.
Minimum length: Eighty - One hundred words per nomination
Deadline: Friday, May 13, 2005 by ten p.m. US CST
Points: Ten for participating with one nomination, and an extra five for each additional nomination -- a total of thirty if you do the limit of five!
Knuts: Five for participating
Have fun!
