New Term - New Officials!

Welcome to Term V!

First of all, congratulations to our newest Officials! All of you please join hih_officials as soon as possible, where you will see a post outlining your general duties and responsibilities. You will be given Maintainer access to your coorelated communities as soon as you do this. :)

Also, in the same vein as Officials, we have our Officials Icons!

Lastly, we'd like to announce the creation of a new community, tied in with hih_thegame! tg_challenge is a challenge community, centered around the RPG. We'll host weekly challenges like trivia about the characters and plot, icontests using the character models, drabble prompts, and many more! If you're a member of TG -- or even if you're not, and want to join in the graphics contests -- go check it out!

For those who aren't involved in hih_thegame, we'd like to invite you to come on over! It's definitely one of the most active parts of HiH, and all of the players bond and make friends through the game. If you're new to RPGs or have never played, don't worry! We will gently guide you through the whole process -- from creating a good, solid character, to showing you the ropes of general gameplay. It's all very laidback and friendly, so feel free to join!

Also, here's a quick rundown of our other communties, some of which will be back in action due to new Modship and the fresh new term! All others are continuing with a flow of steady activity!

platform_934 - The sorting community
hogsmeadewkends - Hogsmeade; trips are scheduled once every six weeks!
hh_flourish - Flourish and Blotts: The graphics shop! Shop owners post catlogues, and you order your very own sig tags, icons, layouts, etc!
hh_diagon - Diagon Alley! Order required items (such as those you need to become a registered Animagus within Clubs) or just things you'd like to have here! Also, exchange knuts for points; NEW: Exchange your knuts to purchase a gift of points for any other House!
hh_sugarquill - Monthly challenges centered around fanfiction, drabbles, and fan art.
hh_writersblock - 30-minute fic prompts!
hh_clubs - Get involved in 'The Restricted Section' (a literature club), or one of many, many other groups -- not all discussion is limited to Harry Potter, so have a ball!
sortedchallenge - Weekly graphics prompts lead to an assortment of Headers, Friends Only banners, and icons; all are voted on by you!
hh_stmungos - Activities revolving around magical (and not-so-magical) maladies and injuries; world discussions, deep debates, etc!
hih_insomniacs - Night owl? Keep yourself entertained with the array of activities Insomniacs offers -- scavenger hunts and random conversation topics, just to name a couple!
hh_quidditch - Be sure to friend this community to keep an eye on when games will be held! Spectators cannot join, so any membership by those other than Quidditch players will be denied!
