A couple of exciting announcements!!

First of all, hp_stillness will be hosting a LIMS (Last Icon Maker Standing) contest, starting February 1st! All HiH members who enter will receive ten points for their House, in addition to any points you earn by entering the regular weekly challenges. If you win one of the special awards each week, you'll earn another ten, and if you make it to the top ten, you'll earn twenty-five! Should you win the whole shebang, you'll get fifty points and a real (not LJ/internet) prize!

If you're interested -- and I hope you are -- sign up here! We've had a huge response -- so far, over eighty participants!


Also, something new and exciting and hopefully very entertaining for all of you -- our very own Hogwarts is Home celebrities!

Ever wonder just what Lucius Malfoy would have to say to a Slytherin pusher? Or what about Hermione Granger, when a new applicant disses the House Elves?

You're going to find out.

Introducing HiH Character Journals! In the next few days, expect to see random characters (both from Harry Potter, and from other fandoms!) pop up in platform_934 -- complete with well thought out applications to compete for your votes! Sort them just like you would any other and earn points in the process, then watch as they just might join your house! Expect them to go wild -- or, in Lucius' case, slightly Death Eater'y. ;) We hope that you guys have so much fun interacting with them, sorting them, and generally laughing at their antics.


Lastly, as a special event next month, we're going to revive one of our most sucessful contests -- Who's Who or Harry Potter Soundtracks! Click the contest to see the details, and vote below for which one you'd like to see again!
