Mod Post / New Communities

A few recent additions to our affiliates and communities have just been added! I'd like for everyone to feel free to check out hh_clubs, hogwartsicons, and hp_rehab. hh_clubs is the much anticipated Hogwarts is Home Clubs community! It is run by medens_lupus and angelofstrange. hogwartsicons is an icon community open to everyone -- not just HiH members! -- to share their Harry Potter icons. No longer will we accept icon posts in the main community. hp_rehab is a new community moderated by our very own shakiracrazy, and is simply a fun place for all HP fans to converse. Also, don't forget about hp_chorus, who we just affiliated a week or two ago!

The Animagus Club membership will require an application. We don't want every Mary Sue in our community tagging an Animagus form onto their list of attributes, so we're only accepting the most genuine applicants. An Animagus Committee (if you're interested on being in the committee, please use the application provided for the head of community) will look over your application, take into consideration each and every answer, and decide upon your Animagus form. Applicants may not reapply, and may not throw hissy fits over the disgust of their animal. The application can be found within hh_clubs.

:: about hogwartsicons ::

As mentioned above, no more icon posts will be allowed here at HiH. It had been in the FAQ and rules for a long time that icon posts should not become a customary ordeal. In the past week, it has become far too much for our community to handle -- there have been complaints, suggestions, and general stress. Therefore, any icon posts will promptly be deleted by a Mod and points deducted.

It is suggested that you freely post your Harry Potter icons there, and when Hogsmeade weekends come around, share your links with the members of the community. This way, not only can everyone see your lovely creations, but the community here can be redirected at ease in the correct time and place.


The results for our Officials icontest were the set we're all modeling now. *turns around* They were made by.. well, myself. :) But, we of course had to have a second and third place, which belong to...

semirhage527 & hey_lena tied for second, with angeleyesjg24, all of Ravenclaw, bringing up third! Congratulations to all of you!

Also, semirhage527 is our new Order Organizer! She has tons of great ideas for promotion, so let's congratulate her and watch as our community grows!
