hh_diagon is open for business!!

You may deposit any knuts you may have earned, but please be sure to link to the points post I made a few days ago.

Newcomers may wonder: How does Diagon Alley work?

There are only ten posts in the community. The very first is the Gringotts Bank Post. This holds every students vault and their knut totals. If your name is listed with a total beside it, that means you have that much wizard money in the bank. The other nine are all canon shops from Diagon Alley -- Madam Malkin's, Eeylop's Owl Emporium, etc.

If you wish to make a deposit, simply comment at Gringotts with a link to your newly earned money. For example, if I wished to make my own deposit, I'd simply comment with my total that was listed in the point post for December, and link to that post so that whoever is running the bank can look and be sure that the money was in fact earned.

If you wish to purchase items, simply browse the shops and make a comment in each appropriate shop. Example -- If you wish to purchase a cauldron, a velvet robe, and a Snowy owl, you'd make three comments. One in the Apothecary and Cauldron Shop, one in Madam Malkin's, and one in Eeylop's. Your comments would all include the item number you wish to purchase, and the total amount of money for your purchase.

Every Friday, the money will be deducted from your account -- be careful to not overspend! For each item you don't have the money to pay for, you'll go negative five knuts.

Over the weekend, an item pickup will take place where everyone who purchased something during the week may pick up their Official items. This item will have your username on it, in addition to an authenticity number. The process ensures that no one simply takes the graphics and uses them, making it appear as they bought them. :)
